The students and teachers of DPGA – Gorai had organised “Mathematics Fair”.
(MATH-O-SCOPE) on 15th November, 2014 presented in an innovative manner i.e. “Mathoscope – a journey through the eyes of mathematical perspective”.
It was informative and thoroughly enjoyed by both parents as well as students. Parents took a keen interest in getting more information about the concepts presented by the exhibits and mathematical games that were organised. ‘Magic Square’, the interplay of mathematics and art presented in a dance form added colour and fun to the fair. It offered an opportunity for our students to understand and internalize the basic mathematical concepts through concrete objects and situations.
Theodolite and sextant models as well as robotics were an extension that was made this year, as a part of application to the real life situations. It was overwhelmingly appreciated by our school community.
The students and teachers of DPGA – Gorai organised the “Mathematics Fair” (MATH-O-SCOPE) on 8th February, 2014. “A Journey through the Eyes of Mathematical Perspective”.
It was enlightening as well as entertaining for all the students of grade 6 to 12 and those who came to observe. Parents invited for the fair had a great time. The main aim of this fair was to help the students to build interest and confidence in learning the subject. ‘Magic Square’, the interplay of mathematics and art, presented in the dance form was the highlight of the event. Each and every exhibit helped the students to add to their knowledge and exhibit their skills.
