‘Every home is a University and the parents are the teachers’ – Mahatma Gandhi

Keeping in Mind the above quote. The most important challenges of the school i.e. to orient and to enlighten the parents of the Early Years. DPGA, Gorai organized a well-structured orientation program for parents on 18th June, 2022.

The Program began with lighting of the lamp and welcoming the parents to the new session 2022-2023.

The programme commenced with an address by the school Principal where he highlighted on the ‘Role of Parents’ in shaping their wards career. He even emphasized on spending quality time with their children to unfold the potential and support them to reach their highest caliber.

Through PPT Presentation parents were elucidated about the Vision and Mission of the school. Next, a brief description of the institution, about its faculty members, along with achievements was given by the anchor. Later, an overview of the subjects like Literacy including Jolly Phonics, Numeracy, Projects, Assessments, Teaching Aids, Methodologies, events, festivals and co-curricular activities were also given by the anchor, which would be undertaken in the year ahead.

The day ended with the parents apprise with the system followed by questionnaire, vote of thanks and National Anthem.
