A small donation can make a big difference to the lives of many.

In order to instil a sense of care and gratefulness amongst the students, DPGA, along with 47 other institutions of Mahatma Education Society organised a ‘Blanket Donation drive’ to support the lesser privileged of the society.

DPGA parents and teachers came forward in larger numbers to support this drive and donated generously. One could also see new items rather than only the used ones.

The school donated these necessary resources to a Non-profit organization that would provide these items to those people who belong to the underprivileged societies. Entire team planning, collaborating with NGO, preparation, collection was planned and initiated for this noble cause under the supervision of IB students.

Under the able guidance of our Dy.CEO – Dr. Sharda Sharma, and with the resilient support of the CAS coordinator, our IB students found the confidence to spearhead this initiative.

As part of their CAS curriculum these items were segregated and donated to slum areas with the help of the NGO Umeed Foundation (www.umeedfoundationindia.com)
