Mathoscope & Scintillation 2019

Dr. Pillai Global Academy organised an Annual Science & Math Exhibition on Saturday 9th February 2019. The event started at 8.30am. All the parents were invited to witness the enthusiasm of the students who had worked hard towards this day. The exhibits were made and displayed by the students from the pre-primary, primary & our secondary sections.

Medical Checkup (Pre-Primary to Grade 12)

We extend our Gratitude to the team of doctors, Dr. Sangore (Parent of Aarna – 2b) & Dr. Shreyans for the general & dental checkup of our students this week.

Environmental Week

Dpga celebrated Environmental week from 25th to 29th June,2018 to sensitize the students towards the need to protect the environment from plastic and to promote love for environment among children.

To achieve this objective a plethora of activities on the theme “Say NO to PLASTIC” were organised for students of classes.

‘Mysteries of the Unseen World’ and ‘Asteroid – Mission Extreme’

The students of Dr. Pillai Academy, Gorai, had an unusual opportunity to witness the educational Movies organised by the renowned T.V. channel “National Geographic”. The movies titled ‘Mysteries of the Unseen World’ and ‘Asteroid – Mission Extreme’ respectively, aroused the curiosity of the students to an incredible extent.

Donation to Aadhar Homes

The DPGA, Gorai family (management, teachers, students and parents) had organized various programmes and competitions from time to time to generate funds. These funds will be donated from time to time to support homes, orphanages etc.

Oops ………… Our Zone (O3)

zoneThe O3 Activity was conducted by the students of Dr. Pillai Global Academy, Gorai. It was aimed at creating an awareness on how we can save our ozone in our own little way, by adopting simple measures such as saving electricity, turning off the taps when not in use keeping the environment clean, using carpools etc.


origamiOrigami is an interesting and challenging paper craft. Ori means folding and gami means paper. It is basically a Japanese art. The goal of this art is to transform a flat sheet of paper into finished sculpture. This must be done without cutting or gluing the paper. IB Students made paper sea-horses, frogs, flowers like Rose, lily, lotus, kusudama etc.
