Continuing the 50 yrs’ celebrations of Mahatma Education Society.

An inter-school competition Vitathletics was organised by Dr Pillai Global Academy on Friday 28th February, 2020. Many schools around Mumbai participated in the competition which comprised of various events wherein the students showcased their sportsmanship.

The meet was declared open followed by the releasing of balloons and an elaborate pre-primary students parade. There were a total of 120 students that joined the colourful march from different schools.

The event was graced by our Honourable chief guest Ms. Mabel Chan Pillai, our Deputy CEO Dr. Sharda Sharma and the Sports Director of the Mahatma Education Society Mr. Padmakshan Padmanabhan. The vibrant races began with the Lowers running their first steps to the finishing line in the game called the “Jelly Fish Race.” This was followed by the Middles and the Uppers Section who successfully completed the races with great zest.

The Best School Performance award was bestowed on “Gundecha Academy, Kandivali” that bagged the trophy.

The welcome vote and vote of thanks was delivered by our Head Girl Ms. Talitha Ferro. The Meet was declared closed by Dr. Sharda Sharma concluded by the National Anthem.

Indeed it was a marvellous day for these tiny children who enthusiastically participated in the competition.
